Monday 27th June
Took the train to Venice from Bessano which only took an hour and cost 8 Euros return, a painless way of getting there. WOW! What a brilliant day, St Mark's Square was heaving but otherwise we managed to avoid the crowds. We watched the gondolas going past complete with accordion player and singer. I dragged Phil around for hours and hours and hours in the heat poor soul! I wont bore you with all the details but Phil took over 100 pictures I will post some when we have looked at them and I will get him to put a selection on his facebook.
