Well I have to admit that the northern end of Lake Garda is very beautiful but still very difficult to park a motorhome anywhere, so we didn't really stop on Friday.
On to Bessano del Grappa, where Phil was intending to fly. Yeay! we actually found an aire with free water and electric! We went by motorbike to take a look at the launch, a steep windy road up seventeen hairpin bends. The weather was not brilliant, stable with a massive inversion and the rigging area was very busy. Phil was not happy with the conditions and I was a bit concerned about getting Myrtle back down the hill so for Saturday and Sunday we opted for plan B. We had a look around the town (market day Saturday) which was really interesting. We also caught up with some chores and went to the top of Monte del Grappa, up all 28 hairpin bends this time, which was great fun on the bike.
