The Emerald Buddha is housed in the same grounds as the Grand Palace.
We arrived in Bangkok on the 25th of May, wahoo. Bangkok is everything and more one would expect. We hooked up with a travel mate on the evening of the 25th and decided to have a look around town. Koh Shan road is where most travellers head to, so we followed suite.

Even if the room is slightly "old" and "crap" - said Nats - we thought we are back packing anyways so what the hell.

Luke did a flea check on the manky matress and Nats is happy to report all is looking good on the flea front.

Check out the photos of the Grand Palace, totally amazing way to spend a day, if not two....

All of the buildings have the same attention to detail. It really blows your mind.

Duncan declares that his super powers are about to end, Luke and Chris agree. You need super "staying powers" when visiting any temples in South East Asia as they are so big.
