We arrived at Innot springs caravan park where there were pools filled with water from the hot springs. One pool was freezing, one was warm and the other was hot. In the hot one you can press a button and bubbles turn on for 10 minutes. There was an indoor area with a really hot pool , but kids aren’t allowed in it. . After Innot springs the next day we went to Undara lava lodge  were we stayed for 2 nights. We did a tour in the lava tubes, which are big tunnels made by lava 200,000 years ago. There were lots of frogs living in them. Dad and I played to the crowds one night around the campfire. We then headed off to Normanton which is a place that has the Big Barramundi and the Big Crocodile (a copy of the biggest one ever caught in Australia at over 8 metres long). The big croc was massive. I could fit my whole body in there. Anyway we didn’t stay in Normanton, we stayed in Kurumba (on the Gulf of Carpentaria) where we camped in a caravan park. We went fishing and had fish and chips while we watched the sunset out to sea.

We spent three nights at Boojamulla National Park (formerly known as Lawn Hill). The first night Dad and I played for the visitors at Adels Grove resort. The people there gave me $55 for playing and we got free canoe hire the next day. We paddled up the Lawn Hill river and had to portage the Injarra water falls. We were looking for freshwater crocs but did not see any. The next day we went for a walk next to the river. I was really cold. We went for a a swim in the water which was warmer than out of the water. There was a spa made by a water fall. I climbed up to the top of the water fall and looked over. When we got out of the water I was eating a rice cracker and an archer fish spat at it. We walked back to our camp.

Stay tuned for photos in the next blog. We are having trouble downloading them onto our computer.

Greetings from down south!
HI Jazz, Ash Mish and Conrad, Sounds like you are having bags of fun on your trip! It's great to hear about all your adventures. Keep them coming! You're doing well on the busking front - you might be able to pay for the whole trip!! All is well back here. Lachie Lee had a party last weekend and a bunch of the boys went down for it. They also went to the football to watch Hawthorn get humiliated once again by the best team in the league (me, a Cats fan?!) William is doing well. He and Marvin were in the final of "Kiewa Valley's got Talent" a few weeks ago. They did a great job, but it's not the same without you!! Stay well, keep having a fantastic time. love Rose & Will. x
