Thursday 19th May
Because I was feeling a bit weary Phil suggested a short bike ride on the flat. Well I don't call going over the col de Miscon flat neither do I consider 40km short! However it was mostly downhill all the way back and it was very pretty, but my little legs were even more tired. I then managed to cook the first inedible meal of the trip so not a bad day really!
Friday 20th May
Walked from Col du Festre to Col des Aiguilles, only about 10k but quite steep. I took the low path through the valley and Phil walked all the way along the ridge (it looked too strenuous for me and Phil says that it involved a lot of scrambling up and down scree slopes). Wonderful views again, Phil says the photos will be worth the cuts and bruises!
