Banff to Kelowna

So, we have been away for a week now and we have seen so much and I can't believe we still have another 6 weeks to go! The sites we have seen in a week is what I would normally expect to see in an entire holiday!

Up early this morning to pack and hit the road again towards the States but first we have to stop off in Kelowna, (what a cool name!) for a halfway break 'cos on thursday it's going to be another 9 hour drive to the border...OH DEAR!! NOT AGAIN!!! Let's hope they don't find us suspicious looking this time! Well, atleast we will have mother hen nearby incase we get stuck!

So today we passed the most gorgeous lakes, yip they were the emerald blue ones and silly naa-naaa me didn't charge my camera since before we left home a week ago...so I had a flat battery!! Nice! So I'm hijacking once again some of Jason's pics! hehee!
We passed this very random place as we went over a high pass, I think it was called Gost Town, well, on the pics you will see it looks a little 'abandoned' and it was just very weird looking in between all the beautiful trees and lakes! It was an excellent oppertunity for fotos and the mirror effect on the water was so worth it!

We also stopped at Mara lake, we all fly out the car, take a few snaps and hop in again! Tamsin and Marc sat in the back row of the Suburban today, so tomorrow we rotate seats again so it will be easy in and out for them. The middle two seats can fold flat and that is how the back row passengers for the day get in and out, so yes, we are getting our excercise in! We even managed to go to gym a couple of times!

We are staying at The Comfort Suites tonight, and we are all being treated to our own rooms tonight! (ok, obviously husband and wife in a room!) so we can all just laze around and gather our thoughts again before hitting the road tomorrow. We will be staying in Seattle for two nights, so with a freshly charged camera and hopefully some interesting things along the road...I'll chat again tomorrow night!
