Hi there and welcome to Monday ...I bet you all thought we ran off and hid somewhere ...well we were rather quiet Saturday and Sunday as heavy traffic and poor parking conditions made it very difficult to get around .
Saturday our plans to visit a botanical garden changed and we did find our way to Waikiki Fort DeRussy Beach Park where we enjoyed an afternoon of sunshine and swimming and before we left we had the opportunity to se flags of some 67 countries the were involved in the Korean conflict (The Korean War (25 June 1950 - armistice signed 27 July 1953)...and from there made our way back to a BBQ prepared by Chef Roger
Sunday found us trying to get a spot at the beach at eight in the morning but to no avail as roads were blocked by the many activities happening in and about the area ....and my dear wife thought that some time could be spent at.... Ala Moana Center in Honolulu which is the largest shopping mall in Hawaii, the fifteenth largest shopping mall in the United States, and the largest open-air shopping center in the world........well folks there are some 290 stores shops
and eateries in this mall and I am pretty sure we visited (reluctantly)all of them and my dear wife being akin to a drug sniffer dog can find a sale literally blocks away (women s STUFF)so I just followed along like a patient puppy
At the end of the day we headed back to determine all the money saved and the great deals that Lorieta was able to find
Well folks today is a day at the beach ...a bit of snorkeling (Lorieta's latest new challenge) and fun in the sun...
A hui hou kakou
Roger

From the distance, and ever so briefly I thought" Goodness, Roger joined them on stage!" I would put nothing past any of you:)
