Update from LB,BCS

Where has the time gone?? Perhaps with the wind? We had a load of wind the first couple weeks of February. Everyone except the kiters were going stir crazy as there is not much to do when all there is is wind and dust. I spent some time painting the inside of the RV covering up the ugly panel with a creamy buttery color. Am still not done but that is ok.

January 31 was the day a group of us took a quad ride up to a small ranching village to El Coro. I would guess the population to be around 15-20! However, there are a lot of ranches as we climbed higher into the mountains. Loads of dust but it was fun. I had gone up there before with some friends but in a car. The road is winding and narrow with sharp drop offs so it is important to watch where you are going. This was my first long ride on the quad and it went well. There were about 15 of us in our group. The vistas are amazing from the top. Once we reached our destination, we walked about, had our packed lunches and visited. Then we were off again and back down to "civilization".

When I got back, I got a call from Michael and he decided to avoid the storm brewing in Michigan, so he booked a flight and arrived the next day! Unfortunately he was here in the worst of the wind but he was glad to be out of the snow that Michigan got in that huge storm that hit Michigan and most of the Midwest. He was determined to play golf so he and Mike headed to La Paz to play in the wind. From what I gather, they had a great time!

After he left the wind still was blowing but finally calmed down a bit and then Susie and Art arrived for a week and stayed in a "casita" a couple miles down the beach from here. Their little abode was clean, comfy and very, very nice. The couple who own it built it with the intention of building a larger home and that they did. Sue will be doing a guest blog with photos etc.

So, life continues to be good here in BCS. Come on down if you dare!!! Miss you all and we are looking forward to our next visitors, Meghan, Matt, his sister and mom!!
