booked!

It's all started actually happening! I've booked my placement with Real Gap. 8 weeks, October 16th till December 11th. So, plan as it currently stands (recorded for prosperity so that I can see how much I change) is:

Fly LHR-Delhi October 15th, arrive 16th for placement.
11th December, back in Delhi after placement.
Then - 10 weeks travelling, including christmas with Sam and Jen. That takes me up to 19th Feb.
Then - 6 weeks in Nepal and Tibet, approx 1 week Kathmandu, 2 weeks Tibet, 2 weeks trekking (probably Annapurna), 1 week kathmandu valley, maybe elsewhere.
Then back to Delhi, fly home around 10th April.

Only trouble with this whole plan is the weather....it'll be damn cold in Tibet and trekking in Nepal. So I might spend an extra week or two in India, so that its March by the time I start on Tibet and treks. Or spend an extra week at the beginning in Nepal, travel around a bit before Tibet/trek, maybe Chitwan national park.

Not got much on for the next few weeks, so will probably spend time looking into where exactly I want to go. And then had better think about booking my flight!

Excitement!
Well seeing as no one else has added yet thought i'd give it a go! I love this whole travelblog business, and its so damn exciting! We're all really gonna miss you though Rach! You best blog as often as possible!! =D
