Stray Tours

Wellington lived up to its name it was windy and I do mean windy. Watched the super bowl at this pub and the best part I think for everyone at the bar was the surprise appearance by Usher or at least it was for me. Went to cool museum about new zealand lots of geog information there for Jon who was loving it, I was still a little happy from the pints at the game and played in the childrens section, they had a jungle gym the size of a blue whales heart.
Took the ferry across the cook straight which was beautiful, we were on a large boat and arrived in the Picton Harbour. Not much to do in Picton but we did fine a really nice hostel and played a round of mini putt. We also had a great bike ride that Jon wishes he had photos of, I was on a childs bike and rolled backwards down the hill... he will debate this point and say it wasnt the bike it was the biker.
We are now touring with this company called stray tours. We travel around the south island and we can hop on and off the bus as if goes through different cities. We are currently in Nelson at the Paradiso Backpackers hotel and its amazing, spent the entire day by the pool in the heat! Best day yet!
Here for a few days and then were setting to the ocean for a kayak adventure.
