Had a one-to-one tutorial all in English. Came with ideas but definitely felt I needed this tutorial to help push me on. I figured as Dutch seem to be so honest, frank and open I didn't have to hold back with my opinions and some disagreements. My tutor said making people feel angry is more interesting than boosting their confidence so I disagreed because anyone can make people feel angry but to help people gain self confidence is not quite so easy as so many people lack it, and plus I want to create work that's of some kind of benefit to society! Anyways I still took note on his points and figured I just need to find a balance to show both sides of a story, to be realistic as aposed to painting a pretty naive picture.
Explored my campus a bit more because I thought I hadn't seen everything and was really curious to see what lay upstairs. I found the print rooms and media labs, sound included! But didn't see what the photography studio looked like or of animation inside... I even got a bit lost walking around the monastic niches but it changed my impression of the campus and I felt a lot more excited by the building and its somewhat hidden facilities. I didn't realise it was quite so big as what I saw today!
Finaly got myself a timetable so I don't have to rely on students telling me what time we need to be in the next day.
My housemate came back today. He went to England with his course for a day and came back ill after eating English fish and chips!

Definately agree with boosting people's confidence than making them angry! People need more positivity in their lives, not negativity (people give that to themselves anyway). Lol I was never an English chips person. Dutch, Belgian and French chips all the way :P xxx
