And so the time has come to say goodbye to Jaco, my home for the last 5 weeks! Wow when you put it like that it seems like a long time. A great time, but a long time. A time in which I was able to make some amazing new friends, hopefully life long, and if not great acquaintances! Every week I was lucky enough to meet new people from all over the world, actually, scratch that. I met a lot of Swiss, Germans United Satesmen and women and Canadians!! And can I just say the Europeans rock and I simply cannot wait to get myself over there to visit!
On this note I must add that for the entire 5 weeks I was the only Australian! Can you believe it?! As much as I love fellow Australian travellers it was refreshing to be one of a kind for a while. And on this note to all the local Tico's thank you for being so fascinated with 'a white aussie girl'. You made my morning rides from school to the beach so much more enjoyable with your wolf whistles, stares and compliments!

Jaco, you have been amazing. You've given me beautiful weather, a tan!! (yes it's true) glorious morning swims and impeccable sunset dips. You have shared with me your wonderful people, culture and way of life. Pura Vida is the way life should be and if there's one thing we can learn it's to love life for simply that reason.
School of the World, you have been my home away from home for the last 5 weeks. From all of my lessons to the field trips;firstly the crocodile tour where I was lucky enough to see some of the biggest crocs! next was the sea kyaking/snorkelling trip which was super fun. We had a great group of people this week and with my roomie Rachel along side we absolutely smashed the turbulent waters. I was lucky enough to touch a puffer fish, star fish and other sea creatures who's names remain a mystery at this point in time! They always say save the best till last and in this case I think they did. My final week at the school we went to the waterfalls. Sitting in the front of the van singing along to old time favourites with two of my favourites we ventured out to two awesome waterfalls on an equally as awesome old lady's property. I think I've always had a bit of that adrenaline junkie gene in me so when the opportunity arose to jump from one waterfall to the other I couldn't get enough!! The field trips are just a small part of what makes SOTW such an amazing place to spend 1 week, heck maybe even 5 weeks!
The photography has been simply amazing, I've learnt so much. Thank you for the yoga, surfing and spanish, amazing friends, great company, many many laughs, copious amounts of free alcohol, fun and many memories. I can only hope that every student who comes through here will have just as an amazing time as I did.

Life is short.
You only live once.
Life is an abundance of happiness, culture, religion, freedom, fun, friendship, new experiences and love.
I am living my dream and loving every minute of it.

Every place I visit brings me closer to finding my true self and so it's exciting to be moving on to another adventure. My next stop is Montezuma, a cute little beach side town an hours boat ride from Jaco.

Pura Vida!!!!!!! Enjoy the photographs
