Hello, and welcome to Marieke and Barrie's travel blog.

Thank you for taking the time to check it out and We hope you will stop by every now and again to see how we are getting on.

We will update you with photos which will hopefully make this an interesting page. Whilst we have no definite route planned, we have a good idea of where we will be going and in what order and it looks something like this:-

- London - Thailand - Cambodia - Vietnam - Laos - Thaliland (again) - Malaysia - Singapore - Indonesia - Australia - New Zealand - Chilie - Argentina - Bolivia - Peru - USA - London -

We are not planning to use our mobiles much so we will keep in touch with people by email, Skype and via this blog.

Only 11 days to go now and the excitiment, stress (we haven't rented our flat yet), nerves and anticipation are building to new levels now. Both of us are now officially out of work, Marieke is still finishing off her essay marking whereas I am left with tasks such as starting this blog up, cancelling direct debits and booking hotels - believe us, we really just want to travel now!

Anyway, we plan to update you with information every 2 weeks - 1 month, so please stay with us, enjoy and comment (if you can).

Yes Albert! I think if we have some money left, we are thinking about extending our trip, so an extra few days in Florida, as it stands we only have two days there. But will keep you posted! x
