Happy 40th to a WW and Christmas Greetings

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH! 😊

Today, apart from being Christmas Eve, is indeed an important day - it is the 40th birthday of our very special and wonderful daughter, Sarah. We are naturally very sorry to be so far away on her birthday but we hope she will have a birthday to remember. She has gone to Prague with hubby Darryl for a few days (maybe to experience a different sort of snow?!) so we look forward to hearing about their trip. Whatever they do we know they’ll have fun!

We’ll miss being with them and the rest of the family and friends in the UK this Christmas but of course we will be with the part of the family that we rarely get a chance to be with so we’ll have mixed feelings.

It’s hard to believe that it’s almost Christmas Day although it hasn’t exactly been boiling hot here of late. Today it looks to be a cloudless sky and much warmer so no doubt we’ll be wishing it would cool down soon.

Happy Christmas to all our family, friends and readers of our blogs. We hope we can continue to have fun and experience Aussie life as much as possible over the next few months.

Frozen and Forty!!
Thank you very much for my special birthday blog .... and for the gorgeous photo memories! I love our Mother and Child competition photo - the look on my face is brilliant and my complete disregard for the number and refusal to stand up straight were a clear sign of things to come!! What a little angel!! Prague is very cold and it's still snowing but we are of course having loads of fun as always .... well who wouldn't with every street corner heralding a stand selling Hot Wine!!!!!
