Hello all,
I left Chaing Mai on Sunday morning and took the train to Bangkok, this was a 12 hour journey but went quite quickly. I stayed in Bangkok on Sunday night then went to get my flight to Singapore on the Monday. It was almost dark when I arrived so I didn't see much of the city. Yesterday I walked around for a while then decided to get a tour bus to see the city, I stopped off at the botanical gardens on the way round.
The hostel I'm staying at is really nice it's called pillows and toast and is in a great location. It's so much more expensive here compared to Thailand which is taking a bit of getting used to. It's as bad as home!!!
Today I spent the whole day shopping down Orchard Road which is the place to go here. It's so much nicer than Oxford Street with every shop you can think of. The best shopping experience I've had in a long time. I did buy myself a couple of Christmas presents which I'm sure you'll see in the coming months.
Anyway I leave for Australia tomorrow, very excited. I then meet up with Mark and Emma Christmas Eve.
Love to all x x x
