Heya everyone,
Just got back from an exhausting day in NYC but a brilliant one as well! Started of the day at Washington square park to see the Washington Arch and then walked down 5th avenue towards to empire state stopping off for a quick american breakfast on the way! Empire State building had amazing views cus its been really clear and sunny today but also bitterly cold and really windy, so we couldnt stay outside for too long up there! We then got the train to the natural History museum and ended up going too far to the harlem/bronx border.. so very quickly got another subway back and managed to get off in the right place! Also we're really lucky to find that outside the museum was where they were blowing up the balloons ansd giant floats for the parade tomorrow so manged a sneak peak! Musuem was good ( although London Natural History is better 😉) and the planetarium was amazing- (although Jamie fell asleep so im not sure he'd agree- he claims jet lag). Had lunch lying on the grass in Central Park and then had to make a very speedy and cold walk to Pier 83 to go on the Circle Line Cruise around Manhatten which we chose to do late so we could see sunset on the statue of liberty and the new york skyline at night which was incredible and no pictures give justice! Going back to the hostel then and had a break before we went back to Times Square but were so tired we had a quick bite to eat and came straight back! New York has also really increased in price! But have to be up at 6am tomorrow so need to go to sleep now- locals say you need to be at macys by 7am if you stand a chance of seeing the parade and theres apparantly always surprise celebrity concerts people are saying so fingers crossed!

Favourite Moment of the day: Jamie 'Ooh!Will they let us blow up one of the macys balloons?'

Hi Hannah and Jamie. Loved the blog but I think you will find that when you said ' New York has really increased in price' .... you meant to say ' New York is much more expensive when you haven't got your Daddy with you to pay for everything!' LOL ha ha maybe now you will appreciate us mummies and daddies?????? lots of love x x xx
