Took another fast (210mph) train ride to Suzhou, about 60 miles west of Shanghai, tried a yam (sweet potato) from a srreet vendor. more photos here.

Originally tried to upload these in Shanghai, may have been China's internet restrictions or my inability to use a chinese computer. I almost formatted the drive by mistake'

me catching up!
The piccies are very good. Dad want to know what you're holding in your hand in the packet. I said FOOD. The maglev train is fascinating. I know Japan had some sort of fast train, magnetic I think, but seems China has left them behind. The Chinese are doing wonderfully well. We had a visit from Dom and Tyler on Saturday. We were very impressed with him, bright, intelligent and looks very like his Ma. Nothing great going on here - getting colder and dad is always just that little bit weaker. Oh yes he thinks the colourful view from the water is of Kowloon side. And I've just come across the message where you say you went swimming in Deep Water Bay. You've acquired quite a tan! love from us both xxx
