Wet and noisy Lisbon

Update it's 7.50 in the morning and I am in bed listening to the pouring rain and the trucks removing hundreds of bottles. Last night and the night before we had a party happening outside our corner room in the street outside both of our windows. Apparently we are staying in the party area where there are 100s of bars. things don't start to happen until around 1.00am. Also yesterday absolutely poured also so we were unable to do our walking tour and not much else. It finally eased up after lunch so we went to a contemporary museum and saw an Andy Warhol exhibition which we both enjoyed. We also saw some other very weird modern art. I am seriously hoping the rain stops this morning or we might want to kill each other.

Sorry to hear about the rain but it sounds like you've had a good run so far with the weather. Maybe you should head south ... I hear that Faro is meant to be nice. Enjoy your final days. Love David xx
