Around Cambridge

So yesterday we had a leisurely day wandering around the parts of Cambridge that we had not yet gotten to see. We made our way to the Cambridge River, I think its also called the River Cam. It's so beautiful there, see pictures.
We had Cornwell pastries yesterday and they were really yummy. Also see us enjoying them in a picture.

We've been help up working because our UK criminal record checks went MIA in the mail. So Colin's has showed up at his house Friday and hopefully mine will be there Tuesday and we can both get started working this week.

We were both a bit homesick wishing we were at the cottage with our families for Thanksgiving. Being in a different continent definately reassures what we already knew...we are both very lucky people with families we love. And for that we are thankful 😊 xoxo

I bought a bike....did I mention that already? I'm scared to ride it though because bikes are like cars here. You don't get in the way of a bike! You ride with the flow of traffic and the streets are so narrow. So you can all worry about that. 😊 Our good friend down at Rocco's Bike Shop is currently finishing Colin's bike and Colin is grateful for the delay as riding one is like a dangerous sport.
