Farewell!

Well, the day has finally come. After months of planning, and chatting, and medicating, I am leaving for Tanzania. I managed to pack everything (I hope) in my trusty backpack, and if things go according to plan, I will be able to carry it.

I am nervous and excited and anxious... all things that I believe to be normal for an adventure like this. From Toronto, I go to Amsterdam, and then directly to Kilimanjaro Airport, where the volunteer coordinators will meet me (maybe on an elephant!). And from there my journey begins!

I will try to update and post pictures as often as possible! Keep in touch, and don't miss me too much!!
