Blogging is so weak. I have been thinking about this more and more with each passing day, which has in turn delayed the posting of photos. Writing has never been my strong point and I fail to see how starting now will be a good idea, and on such a medium as the internet(soon to be regulated and thus dead).
So. NYC. What did I notice first through my dazed and bleary gaze? Trash, Rubbish, Filth, Garbage, Waste, Discards, etc. Stacked in stagnant heaps outside nearly every dwelling. Resources everywhere, seen as Trash, looked upon as nothing more than the stage between the refuse bin and the landfill. I mentioned the swirling trash gyre twice the size of texas a few times in passing conversation and many people haven't even heard of it. I see people, I think Trash, I see Trash and I feel inspired. Too many Humans. Alongside white guilt, I have human guilt.
Second thing to catch my eye: Bricks. Everywhere. Wonderful. The vandalism in NY is pretty decent. I noticed a few familiar faces from SF: Gats, Vote, Invader, Look Up, Armer, Chaste, Tunks. This leads me to believe that vandalism has moved from gangs marking their
territory and drug selling locations to rich white kids who can afford to go from one big city to another, painting as they go.
All in all NYC is big, dirty and full of fun. I couldn't help but imagine how scary this city would be after a nuclear blast.
All in all, if you want a real opinion of NYC, go there yourself.

Spoken like a true post apocalypse adventurer. Wouldn't have it any other way
