Checking the blood pressure Something I should do more often.
Thankfully I had a day off from Ulpan because there was a field-trip to Jerusalem. It has almost been three years since my last visit to the old city and I couldn't wait to refresh my eyes with the place. Most of the overseas students came along and we all left the dorms at 7:30am! (not a fan of early mornings)

When I find myself walking through the neighborhoods of the old city my imagination goes wild for I often picture what life would be like if I lived there. Seeing the old buildings, narrow streets, markets and watching the people interact with one another as they have been doing for some time makes you want to do the same.

There were a few students on the field-trip who were going to Jerusalem for the first time, it was great seeing into their eyes as they looked around at and took everything in.

Jerusalem is a place that deserves more than a day, there is no need to rush through city seeing the sites because you'll end up missing its beauty and most importantly, its stories. I need to go back so that I can spend 3 or
