We are now in Kuala Lumpur staying in the Citin Hotel which is a nice hotel bang in the middle of Little India. You have to walk through loads of stalls sellling fake designer stuff till you find the entrance.

It's hot and humid as expected and we have been surviving on about 4 hours sleep a night for the last 3 days so I am abs knackered! But at least we are getting to see loads.

We walked a little in the city last night, ate pizza and then had a drink in an American style bar. This morning we got up really early to get a chance to go on the bridge of the Petronas twin towers. Only the first 200 people to arrive get to go up. We arrived at 8.15am and it was too late! We were told we need to get there at 7am! They should let more people go up and maybe charge a small fee, don't understand why they don't.

We took the hop on hop off bus (they are a blessing) and got a good overview of the city. We went to a butterfly park which was a park covered in netting with loads of butterflies flying around. I was sweating cobs in there! After that we went in this room with insects and creepy crawlies in cages that you get in Malaysia. To my horror I saw they have bird spiders. I hope I don't meet one of those in Borneo!

We then went up the KL tower and got a great view of the skyline.

KL is a cool city with a wide variety of things to see. There is free wifi almost everywhere, even on the hop on hop off buses. We are going to go out for a drink now even though my feet don't want to!
