We headed out on another adventure. The subway 7 day pass we purchased on Saturday was well worth it - the subway system is so easy and clean and air conditioned.
Anyway, today we went to Harlem in the morning, we stumbled across a big street market and celebration. Very multicultural and diverse. We spotted a Costco and I had seen one advertised on TV once - well it was massive, even the trolleys were massive. Crazyiness.

Next we caught the subway back downtown and I went to Century 21 (a department store of discounted designer fashions) and freaked out at actually flicking through racks of Vivienne Westwood and Calvin Klein, YSl etc all squashed together like a Myer stocktake sale.

While I was at C21 Matt went for a walk around the WTC site, city hall and that area.
Matt : I decided to have a look at St Pauls Church, how it was not flattened by the towers coming down is some sort of miracle. I then went to the look at the Ground Zero tributes and alike, I still remember watching TV in bed in Adelaide when what I was watching changed to the live coverage of when the first plane hit then the second and the towers coming down, that memory will always be burnt into my mind. Being here now and seeing the souls that where lost and the hundreds of Firemen and Police who made the ultimate sacrifice to trying to save others is very solemn but also shows the amazing attitude to rebuild and honour the victims.

There were a lot of beautiful buildings and alike around this area, I met back up with Emma and we headed up to the Garment District (more shopping ) then back thru Time Square, holy crap that place is busy, stopped for a pint then headed for home.

Very Jealous
I am glad to hear you are having a wonderful time... Please refrain from sending 3am text messages and making us so jealous we cannot go back to sleep! Keep your happy thoughts to yourself and have pity on those of us in a factory in gloomy Adelaide. Love Sarah
