Gold Coast - Sunshine Coast

Only a few photos here guys as I had a bit of trouble uploading photos from the new Nikon D5000,I'm still trying to work that one out so stay tuned. Had a great time with our friends Jill and Michael on the Gold Coast and parts of the Sunshine Coast. Jill and Michael were staying at the Versace and yes we were the poor cousins staying at the Big 4 in Southport ha ha. Love that Versace Hotel, very decadent interior.....mmmmm.... I really didnt want to leave. Picture wine in hand and pianist playing classics in the beautiful foyer decorated with ornate chandeliers, magnificent floral displays and just a beautiful ambiance all round. Our next stay was at beautiful Caloundra, staying at Dicky Beach an idyllic beach camping spot. I absolutely love the Sunshine Coast and Quentin and I could easily live here in any of these towns; Caloundra, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore and Noosa. We also stayed with Larnie and Steve Tierney in Nambour, we called in for a cup of tea one afternoon and stayed for about 12 days, a really lovely couple with 2 gorgeous girls Kynah and Zhardi.
