This past weekend we went to Baldi Hot Spring and Arenal Volcano. In front of the hot springs was a statue of a woman that represents what beauty used to look like. The hot springs were so wonderful. It was the first time since I've been in Costa Rica that I've had hot water! It is so pretty there and lucky for us it wasn't cloudy around the volcano and we got a great view. We waited for an hour to see the lava ooze but unfortunately it didn't. The volcano waited until much later after we left to erupt.

Shortly after we arrived, the volcano began a series of small eruptions. This happens almost everyday at Arenal.
