It's summer! Even in London!!

It feels really good to be back in London and wander around aimlessly, after what has been a very hectic year with heavy workloads which at times I felt I could barely carry. But it's summer break now and I'm once again holidaying in the beautiful capital of England.
What I love most about London in summer is the huge beautiful parks where you can stroll or sunbathe for hours on end ( mind you, you MAY even step on grass!! ). And luckily, the weather's been great since our arrival and apparently it is forecast to stay like this all through July! Very unexpected for rainy, windy,cloudy London! I just love going to the beautiful, large London parks- I adore Regent's Park just next to Camden Town and London Zoo; Hyde Park Corner just next to Buckingham Palace, the breath-taking Hampstead Heath....places I love and are so dear to me, far from the busy, crowded city streets , they offer a respite from the suffocating London life for residents and tourists alike....

I met up with some friends the other day and they asked me if I'd consider coming back to live here on a permanent basis. Comparing the life I used to have here to the life I have back home in Romania, I must confess I much prefer the latter. I remember what it was like living here and although you can't compare London to anything else on earth, I reckon it is a real cool place to spend a holiday or come, as I have this time, just for a brief time, to do a course, and go back home, to a more relaxed and peaceful life-style. I suppose it's not only London that is stressful and annoyingly busy, it's all world capitals that force you to lead a stressful life-style - always in a rush, permanently on then go, constantly stressing over time.

Anyways, as I was saying, we are taking our time, browsing around the great city, the high street and the huge shopping centers, the parks, the attractions, everything that is a must-see and a must-do at our own, relaxed and laid-back, not-in-a-hurry pace.

I'll be flying out on the 23rd August, going back to Romania where I'll be spending less then a week before embarking on another adventure with a very hot destination: lovely, exciting and very, very hot Spain 😊 Really looking forward to that!
