We Loved Hawaii !!!!!!!

We decided to visit Hawaii after thinking about it for about a year, the reason we were thinking for so long was all the stories we were told about Hawaii.

Well all the stories were all wrong ( lies ) Hawaii is not over rated, Hawaii is not expensive, Hawaii has nothing to offer but Waikiki, WELL ALL THOSE THING WERE ALL LIES.

Hawaii is amazing we loved it, we were only in the island of Oahu, we visited Waikiki, we traveled by bus in the city, we had a wonderful experience and cant wait to go back.

Our visit to Pearl Harbor was just breath taking memorable, North Shore is amazing, small little town, reminds us of 1930 California, the lava rocks in Senset Beach and North Shore looked like an alien world.

Hanauma Bay is a place that just makes you go & say WOW. Amazing, unique, beautiful, breath taking, there is no other way to describe Hanauma Bay.

Rainbow restaurant is a place that serves nice & real Hawaiian food just a few block west of waikiki, Kono in North Shore is also good, but Geovanis takes the cake, the world famous SHRIMP TRUCK located about half a mile from North Shorw.

Ox tale noodle soup was good as well located near Saratoga road. Waikiki beach is beautiful, and you can try to surf with the locals.
We hope to go back as soon as we can.

I came across your Hawaii post by accident, but I'm so glad I did! I live in Los Angeles and have traveled all over the US, and the world, but have so far skipped Hawaii because I hear the same negative things. Your positive feedback really makes me want to go now! My blog is looking for travel reviews, photos, etc, to share (like maybe of Zippy's of Geovanni's?!?!). We also feature foods from around the world, if there's anything uniquely Hawaiian you discovered, and would like to share. If you have the time, check it out at dirty-hippies.blogspot.com, or email me at dirtyhippiesblog@gmail.com. Thanks for the great post, and I hope you make it back to Hawaii soon! Heather :)
