Whoa what an adventure!! We were led by one of Ryan’s family friends (Ryan’s mom’s best friend in Cape Towns husband to be exact) named Rodney. Man, can he hike. This hike was pretty much extra large steps all the way up to the top, with one part that was horizontal with lots of little waterfalls and water flowing off rocks in odd places. Very neat. Evan- you are going to love this. Anyways, it was definitely difficult. It was very hot, with very little breeze in the beginning, but once we got into the gully it was moist and shaded. It took about 2.5 hours to get from the bottom, where the cable car is, to the top. It was an extremely satisfying hike, mostly because I look at that mountain every single day and now I can say “Hell yea I climbed that thing!” Incredible experience and I will definitely be doing it again with Evan. The view from up there is REMARKABLE. You will see from my photos. Orrin was ahead of all of us for the most part he trudged on quicker than me. Ryan took up the rear, he forgot to eat his wheaties and was struggling a little bit. I tried to become one with the nature and found that it was easier that way to make it. Definitely took a ton of water breaks, and pit stops all the way. It was jamming hiking, lots of tourists most of whom wanted to chat with the friendly American walking up, with what looked like, by myself. I thoroughly enjoyed the breaks ☺

Great time. Great exercise. Great new hobby. Hey ladies I am joining the AM hikes .. oh yea get excited.

Greetings from England. We just arrived after a pleasant 8 1/2 nonstop flight from Denver and we are now in a cute country hotel on a river with lots of beautiful, white swans- nothing like to English countryside for some serious charm! Table Mn sounds like a cool hike. I look forward to hiking with you at home- such a treat it will be, esp. with the wildflowers in bloom. There's a great photo spread of some of the World Cup stars- whoa, what bods they have! Enjoy dear girl. xoxox
