The guys arrived... at about 12:30, we'd been waiting since about 10.00 sitting on the side of the koh san road with anticipation which disappeared pretty quickly as we waited. when they turned up i couldn't recognise them julians got a lovely beard on him by the way. turns out yannick told us the flight was a hour early but it doesn't matter as we're all have managed to get to bangkok so its ok.
we spent 2 nights in bangkok 1st night showing the guys around, we sat on mats on the street drinking chang and catching up on each others news and stories. bed at about 7am before getting up at 1 to do a quick tour of bangkok because julains only here for 6 days. we booked tickets for a bus to ko chang, the people who we booked it off was a tourist office and they weren't to happy with me when i told a couple next to me that they were being ripped off by them and then told them they could go to chang mai and go trekking much cheaper than they were offering.. i got some nasty looks.
We went to a muay thai
fight which is thai kickboxing. unfortunately there are no photos as i had no battery. but it was awesome it just got better and better as the fights progressed. there were 8 fights which climaxed in the main event which was gory... the was blood spraying ffrom one of the boxers face which was fun. also i just happened to win all my bets with yannick chris and julian so i was happy.
then we went out again sat on our mats and had 2 hours sleep before we caught our bus to ko chang. managed to get in with some kind of thai mafia woman by accident..but well on our guard we surivived...
We also checked out Patpong, and while inocently buying caps were offered all kinds of delights there, which due to parent type people willll not be specified..but that was good fun..although we never followed them upstairs...
koh chang is awesome we're staying beach huts right on the beach and so we fall asleep to the sound of the waves and we're getting to witness some spectacular sun sets.
we've been chilling out on the beach (finally my first one) which are lovely, the waters all warm and
clear. and persuading chris to be the first one to jump off the cliff into the sea as none of us are sure how deep it is.
the 2nd day we decide to rent scooters again... before we've even got to the road will's already crashed with yannick on the back, yannick wisely makes the decision to get on julians bike (i say wisely but didn't julian get into a concious coma last time he was on a bike?) will was ok he just cut his toe and bent the brake pedal in a further accident. we've gone about 200m down the road and chris goes round a turn to fast and dives off his bike just before it hurtles into approaching car, luckily no one was hurt but the guy wanted 1000 baht to fix his bumper which was broken.. all in all a lovely bike ride.
julian and i ended up one day going for a quick speed round the island for a couple fo hours before returning it ended up being a whole day as we managed to go round as far as you could to the other side of the island and ended up clocking
up about 130km each that day and our top speed was 110km/hr and i wasn't even wearing a helmet mum!!
we've now managged to leave ko chang and now in trat preparing to get to cambodia but the group is having trouble with money as atm cards are being stolen and destoyed everywhere!!!

ps.get your reading tickets people!
we ended up staying in koh chang for ten days despite originally only going for four..we just got stuck there...everyday we would say that we would leave the day after tomorrow.and then never go. it was so easy to get stuck there ..we didn't actually do very much..but it didn't matter...we woke up late, had a long long breakfast on the decking over the ocean, then either went to the beach for the afternoon or sat and read books in hamocks by our little huts or in the bar area, then the evening would come, we'd watch the sunset, have a big dinner, go to a bar, chris would get his bar lean on, go to bed at about four..and just that over and over again...it was only when we no longer recognised peoples faces becasue everyone else had
come and gone, all the staff knew our names and what we would want for breakfast ect.. that we looked at each other and realised that we had to get out of there quickly before it was too late!we had alot of fun..built sandcastles, rode on kayaks, had a few motor cycle accidents, watched fire poi...all that malarky...but it was time to leave..by the end the buckets of water that were used as showers and even our little bungalows by the sea were gladly swaped for a real bed with a fan and a real shower.
we are now in a place called trat..perhaps thailands swindon, if you will..stuck because both chris and will have become victims of credit card fraud and yannicks wallet got stolen in bangkok so here we wait until they can get themselves sorted adn we can move onto cambodia adn can get back to having deep, meaningful, finding yourself moments again!
p.s. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TUPPS> I LOVE YOU xxxxxxxxxxx
