Just another day...

So this is exciting- I came home today to find a large letter from Old Dominion University... it was an acceptance letter! I thought I had either told all the schools not to consider me further or I had received a rejection letter... turns out not ODU! They had the whole thing- the stipend, confirmation letter, etc... I can't believe another place wanted me in their PhD program! Granted- they didn't even interview me, so I'm wondering if all the people they did interview went somewhere else (they're a little late in the game) or what... I'm suspicious of a school that would take me without interviewing me... but the point is, three places wanted me! UT is still the better school of the three though, so I'm glad that I'm going there... but Old Dominion is by the beach :-(

Anyway- Damon and I went to the Mayfield Dairy tour today. We got to see milk jugs being formed and filled, and ice cream too (it was quite fascinating). I've always passed it on 75 but never stopped- so today was that day! Tomorrow I think I'm going to get my tattoo re-inked.

OH- the videos are now working (on the Keep Blount Beautiful and camping)
