YAY
Do I look like it? Well we were adventure kids this weekend, and in a completely different way.
We had two amazing shows in Quincy. The woman in charge was very helpful and when we aksed her about a mechanic, she called and got us squeezed in. They were sweet peas. We took pictures of the set up process so you guys can see what we go through. Lovely. The town was really old and had beautiful homes. It is right along the Mississippi River. We finally had Mexican food and it was great. We had to wait 4 hours for the mechanics to just check out the car so we took their car to a great place. They even had mexican music playing. Our waiter was from Vista. He understood. About a week ago, we were at a sandwich shop and the girl behind the counter had no idea what avocado was. Wow.
When we were leaving Quincy, there was a huge gamer and fishing store with wild am=nimals in small fened in areas in front. HORRIBLE. Tom, I took this pic for you and had to leave. too sad.
Well, we decided to be ridiculous and go back to Indianapolis for
the weekend. We did go to Fairmont (?) the place where James Dean grew up. We went to the museum and then wanted to go to the grave, and his house etc., but the streets were shut down and the whole town was outside because a local soldier had died in the war. We'll have to go back.
We got into Indy at 11pm and headed straight to the bar. It was fun times. The next day, Allen found a great Vegetarian restaraunt for us to have lunch, and then showed us around town. It was a cute part of town called Broad Ripple. I bought a pair of red cowboy boots at a vintage shop for $35. I am the happiest girl in the world. Allen is amazing. He even took me to Trader Joe's. Happy. We went back to his house and had a nap.
He ordered pizza from a great place, then took me back to the hotel so I could get ready to go to the club. I went to Talbott Street and met Kathy and her friends, Lisa, Lisa, Michelle and Melissa. We saw a drag show, and danced. Then back to the
