So i'm here in San Diego.......aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh I know that I have been home for almost five days now, but I had to let it sink in before I wrote. The last few days of tour were awesome. WE had great shows and it was warm, and we stayed in the same hotel room for 3 days. The teachers and students adored us, and we got to enjoy the small town of Clovis, New Mexico. So that mission that I spoke of in Cincinatti was quite disenchanting. We went to about 8 bars and finally settled at a Hamburger Mary's. We had a few drinks and met some people from New York. Fabulous. The eight bar journey was hilarious. We would walk in, walk it through once (sometimes there wasn't much to walk through), and then leave. Well we were adventure kids this weekend, and in a completely different way. We had two amazing shows in Quincy. The woman in charge was very helpful and when we aksed her about a mechanic, she called and got us squeezed in. They were sweet peas. We took pictures of the set up process so you guys can see what we go through. Lovely. The town was really old and had beautiful homes. It is right along the Mississippi River. So I’m writing this to you on Thursday Marsh 23rd, but I don’t know when I can post it because I don’t know when I will have internet access. I am in Quincy, Illinois, right on the Mississippi River….so basically in Missouri. This hotel has turned out to be an absolute disaster. Here we go again. Now, only because I just left it, I will start my blog with this thought. Humans are a weird bunch. I realized just another way that we trick ourselves. I go into a jacuzzi to relax, however...that shit takes a lot of work. The jets are blowing, you keep floating around, and you really can't sit still. You have to keep yourself above water, soon you start sweating, and you're already hot....what gives. So 15 minutes later, after a "so-called relaxing time at the spa," you have to get out. Alright, here it is... in 3 weeks Start in California -> Nevada Arizona Utah Wyoming South Dakota Nebraska Kansas Iowa Wisconsin Illinois Minnesota Missouri Indiana and finally.....Michigan Only 2 states left, Ohio and New Mexico So, since I left you last we have stayed in small towns and its been a bit refreshing. What fun we had! We did a show in Milwaukee Wisconsin and then began our adventure of a 3 day weekend. The school was fantastic. It was called the Milwaukee School of Science, but they didn’t know what a theory was (?). The teacher was great and guided us straight to the Miller Brewing Company. Although it was payday, you have to keep in mind that we are still ACTORS. We really didn’t want to pay to take a tour. However it was our lucky day.
