after much speculation throughout the wedding about when was the appropriate and allowed time for the bride and groom to be allowed to eat each others food and feed each other, bhawan & i sneak in some pre-marital bliss at Snofields. EATING ICECREAM! ps check the size of that SUNDAE!!! pps Vasudah also joined in

SO in Chenai, after the wedding, there was a significant amount of sleeping to be done! But that didnt mean we COMPLETELY wasted our time here! we got to see a few beautiful temples, go to the best resturant in town, & also Visit the best ice-cream parlour in town, called snofeilds!!(YYYYUUUUUUMMMYY!!)

We also took a small daytrip out to MGM Dizzee World! an adventure park that was reccommended by a certain local from The CENTRE@WESTMEAD!!! haha thats right. We went! it was super fun so thanks for the reccommendations Kids 😉 although... that weekend, our new friend Sri told us that the reason half of it was closed was because they are trying to shut the place down. so it looked abit dodgy... but apparently someone died on the rollercoaster me & b went on like 10 times. Ooops. Thanks for praying for us at the wednesday night in Sydney lol! there was one where me & b got into a little circle thing attached to a bigger one. our faces like 20cms away from each other... and you just go around and around. I nearly puked on b. we're getting really close hahaha. i can see y the

Excited for a theme park! Full of tigers, and brightly coloured... things... haha

kids love it its soooo colourful nd i LOVED the mushroom houses. B will build me one somedy!

Last Friday we booked ourselves a tour to Pondicherry. As advised from everyone we didnt want to miss it.. but there was much tribulation about booking the trip. every time we wanted to go and some uncle said he'd arrange it- it never happened... so... at the last minute... Bhawan & i legged it to Chennai central at 5.30am in the hopes of finding the cheapest possible bus. Our dear family here did not want to see our precious selves going in a common, non-ac bus without a proper tour & security ra ra ra... we found the travel agents ourselves, and got a non a/c mini bus crammed full of senior indian citizens and a family, with a 40rupee charge for the guide (which was in Hindi-so bhawan translated for me what i didnt get) and only 300 each for the bus ride! 100% awesome. it was two hours with a roadside chai place to die for, (but if you'd seen it you'd never go voluntarily haha) Chennai museum, a temple with an elephant! who was about 2 meteres away

from us when it did a massive weee hahaha. its an experiene let me tell you.
then we visited the Ashram, and a "mess" which serves unlimited food for 35rupees a head. OH YEAH budget travel.. such GOOD FOOD too! To the beach with the Ghandi statue.. Sri tells us that most Tamil films are shot there if they have any beach scenes at all! and finally Auraville. Never seen so many white people in India till now. Its super-cool hippy central, with like one of those free-thinking cross-cultural shrine things. we liked it there!!

when we got bak we had pizza. great... but made us both ridiculously ill the next two days. YUK.

but that weekend when we finally got to our good friend Suchitra's house, everything was fine! We stayed up talking, eating ool new fruits, and planned a fun day for sunday. Mum made AMAZING chai. Next day it was a cool planitarium trip. the worst museum ive eveer seen. room full of dead animals in really bad preserving liquid stuff that was brown or red YUUUK> (there was even a baby... human baby. messed up huh? good thing we didnt pay to see that)

at Arun ice-creamery. Suchi is my faveourite ever. She knows like 6 languages & is super nice. Great friends instantly!

then Sari and churrida shopping...Suchi & mum got me a good deal and some really nice outfits at the markets. I had my first street-side food. i figured the pizza was still trynna escape me so wats the harm?? absolutely none!! IT WAS GOOOOOOOD!

later that night Suchi, me, Sri & Bhawan went out on their scooters/ motor bikes to get Icecream & chaats. ITS SO AWESOME. nothing compares to the feeling of speeding down a main road on the back of a bike in search of icecream.

Really sad we had to leave Chennai when we did. Suchi's family are amazing! REally love them. Will defiantly find an excuse to go back 😊
