Hi All,

Saturday we went to see the temples of Confucious and Chenghuang, who is the town god. The Confucious temple was very quiet and solemn with hardly anybody around but the Chenghuang temple on the other hand was bustling with people. We also made a couple of friends at the Confucious temple. Alan and another guy whose name I could pronounce. They were both Chinese. Alan was from just outside Zhengzhou where as the other guy was visiting the city. They spoke good English and explained what things were in the Chenghuang temple. After the temples we visited what remains of the old city walls. It is still taking some getting used to all the people. One of the photos shows people trying to get on a bus. Even tho' the bus was full and the driver was trying to close the doors people were still trying to get on. There seems to be no limit of people that can get on. Coming back from the temples the bus just got too full so we decided to get off and walk.

Ciao a tutti,
