Palm trees galore and so much more
How do,

Just thought i'd leave a message telling you all how little i've been doing since my last blog. The last 4 days have consisted of sitting by the beach with the odd walk into town to get some food. My insomnia struck for about 3 nights running, probably partly to do with my body clock being out of sync due to the full moon party and the recent travelling.

We went back to Haad Rin a couple of nights after the Full Moon Party to see our friends Astrid and Effje for the last time, they were starting the trip back to Holland the next day. Cambodia aside, we've bumped into them pretty much every day since the trekking so its gonna be strange not seeing them everyday- enjoy life back in Utrecht girls! The beach was so quiet compared to the full moon party, but still had a few people in the party mood.

One good thing about tha night out was that Jonny finally got around to doing his (amazing) Martin Jol impression to the Dutch girls, needless to say they were blown away by the similarity. The night lasted till 6am and was

really good, I wasn't drinking for the whole night which was weird but ok (Might try it again in future...or maybe not?!?). Jonny wasn't scared to get back on the buckets though and made the night thoroughly entertaining for the rest of us- I bet that you look good on the dancefloor (especially with your red hat on)! He also treated everyone in our taxi to remditions of Pharell's back catalogue, prompting everyone to say "turn that radio down"- it was like Pharell was sitting next to us, "beautiful".

Think we may be moving on tommorrow, and one thing is for sure: "the sun will come out tommorrow", thats one thing you can bet your bottom dollar on.

Take care all,

Mike

Late Post
Ok my lad? Only just got your postcard from Laos yesterday!! (Took a month to arrive). Looks wonderful, but think I'll stick to my automatic washing machine as opposed to the river to do the washing........never had it so good eh???? The weatherman last night said you were in for a scorcher today, so plenty of sun block, we won't be needing it here in Wigton, as we've had snow last week (but we have got the hang of this fire now and it's lovely and warm in here, believe it or not). Drinking out of buckets with straws (well I never, who do you take after??). Let us know where your heading when you get the chance Mike and enjoy every minute. Love you loads. MamXXX
