14-12-09 Well another busy week Today was spent with Dennis getting a brackets made to put the Pole Box under the van & another for the bumper bar to put our tool box on & the clothes line above the spare tyre. Den spent the day putting the tool box on the back. It was about 31 deg today , so the air con went nearly all day. Today the 15th I got a call from the Dentist & my impression for my front tooth was not good enough, so back again & 1 hour in the chair & sticking my “pretend tooth” back in, my crown should be ready on the 18th January. Den put the Pole box on today & the bracket for our table. It is another warm day 29 deg. 16-12-09 Den had to go to an Employment Pathways meeting to see what sort of work he is seeking, We thought he only had to find 8 hours work a week, but he has to find a full time job if possible, If he cant find a job by March He will be trained in something else. So when he got back he tackled the generator box that goes on the front of the van, well nothing just fits on smoothly, does it. The A frame is shorter so den had to alter the box & cut holes out & drill holes, after much swearing he got the job done, it must be 30 deg today, I reckon that he has lost more weight, with the heat & all the work he has done. I have been hand sewing a new plastic bag holder & table cloth ( wish I had bought my sewing machine) Ha Ha , where am I going to put it !!!!! I think Dennis might have had a place for it, if I had bought it. 17-12-09 Another hot day Den went off to get some bits & pieces for the front of the van & took forever to find some of the things he wanted. Once home he tackled the boot & put more hooks in it & tidied up things & anchored the generator to the front . He went up to the office to see if they had any work, the job had been filled. they wanted juniors . No probs. The park had a Christmas Party at 7pm & we went down with a drink & plate & had a great night & met some nice people. I came home & went to bed & Den ended up at Hazel & Jacks place across the road till 11pm, he had a good night too, again it must have been 32 deg. 18-12-09, well enough of working on the van , DAY OFF TODAY, we decided to go into Perth & go to The Bell Tower & the Harbour, where there is a lot of eateries & pubs & tourist shops. We parked the car & we went & looked at the Bell Tower & then we had a drink at “The Lucky Shag” pub & sat outside with the view of the Swan River. After that we went & enquired about going to Rottenest Island for a day cruise, we will probably go between Xmas & New Year. After looking around & seeing the Big Ferris Wheel we went back to the pub for lunch & another drink, it was 34 deg today & hot. We then went grocery shopping, & got some meat & a few things for Xmas. WE picked up 2 more slide out pantry shelves for the van & headed home to unpack the groceries & pack the meat away. The girls were pleased to see us as they had been in the van for 6 hours with the air con on, they were cool. We then put up some Xmas Tinsel & decorations on the van, which was nice, but it still does not feel like Xmas. We had tea & had an early night. Sat 19-12-09 Today Den decided to run some wire through underneath the van for the reversing camera & the break alarm system, it was very hot , I did 2 loads of washing in our new machine (great , love it) I went to the shopping centre to get some more tinsel & a pressie for Dennis & Tara who is 12 & has been walking the dogs for us. When I got back I put up the tinsel & finished putting up the decorations , I felt a little bit more Christmassy then, even the car got decorated. We went & had a drink with the neighbours & then came home & had tea & had an early night. Den goes to the Vampire next Tues to have more blood out, will talk soon

happy new year campers
Well surprise surprise shit first time on for this year haha and most of end of last year , pretty slack the past few months but it has been busy , xmas went well , the grandkids loved it of course , and we got spoilt by the kids . Still waiting in email for pics of the new van . Shit its not good about having to look for a job , i know Den you could be a male escort . just trying to help you out with ideas here ,vampier no good u gotta give blood not take it , oh oh i know i went to before xmas beauty school due to my old neighbour training and she was doing waxing , they are always after blokes for body waxing the ole chest etc you see its good practise for them . gee dont think it would hurt after a while . I take my hat off to you being over there in the heat would kill me . good to see you are doing ok talk soon HAPPY NEW YEAR..................................
