Our Posts end up being about Food anyways.

The last few days have been full of Learning and not just co-operating...but more so co-accepting...and co-compromise. We have been put in an amazing stand point where we can fight-worry-and doubt...or Be led, and fully enter into the Promise over our lives. Kevin is ussually quicker to put down the swords...but his wisdom and understanding are speaking to my heart strings. When we do come home...when ever it is, we know that we know this trip has brought us closer together and put us in places were we can choose Joy in the middle of less then joyful Circumstances.

I snowed last night...and we desire so much to head south.

As we were working on aligning ourselves. We decided to experience what misalignment can really look like.... a train ride and a short walk later we found ourselves feeling a bit off center as we looked up at the leaning tower of Pisa. It wasn't quite as big as I would have imagined, but still a very monumental tower. You really have to hand it to people who are willing to keep going on something even when things start to get a bit off center. Next to the tower is the cathedral, being free entry, we decided that it was also worth checking out.

Yet above this wonder of the world, and grand representation of the catholic church our experience in Pisa was brought to a climax as we headed back to the train station. We stepped in to a little pizzeria, and doing what usually turns out the best, ordered what everyone else was having. We ended up with a flat bread sandwich type thing, with a yellowy cooked flat chewy thing in the middle. Were still not exactly sure what it was. The best we could get was that it is some kind of bean thing.

So when it comes down to seeing some history.... or eating, we know you'll make the right decision.

you know what I notice ?
surprisingly the absence ot photos of you two together... ? It is pretty clear that you guys are having issues, Because the last two blog updates were 99% of the places, and 1% of you two as a couple.. ? This is your Journey TOGETHER as a couple for the rest of your lives... and when i see Kevin in a photo from 50 feet away, and out of 23 photos, that is the only one of him... it concerns me. Put the camera in someone else's hands for a minute, and have Them take photos of BOTH of you together. After almost 5 years together with Cyndy, the photos we treasure the most, are the ones we have of hugging each other, in these world class places. Number 17 was flipping amazing.. wow... beautiful. what is it.. I do wish you guys would write a little commentary on each photo as you posted them. And # 19... Beth, where are you... i wanted to see you ROARING at another Lion LOL.. It sounds like you guys have an amazing perspective on how to deal with conflict... it is inevitable... it is just a matter of how you manage through it. It does not surprise me that Kevin is the peacemaker... he was sooooo calm and soothing for me, that his Rock Like peacefulness will temper Bethany's fire, and you will both be so good for each other. It is funny that you decided to go and visit the Leaning Tower, after you were having conflict... that is just like you two... and i love it.. what an amazing metephore to look at, and use as a "foundation" of what not to do... LOL... I seriously hope you are keeping a journal of all your adventures... it will make an awesome book.... for the next newlyweds behind you. Seeing both of your talents at writing, i think it would be a really logical next step :-) Love you guys a ton :-) Be at peace, and enjoy the WHOLE journey. John

Tiffs are Treasures!
Martin and I have learned more truth through what we call 'discussions' than any thing else. Mind you after almost twenty-six years of marriage I am thankful for the discussions because it means we are still growing. One thing for sure: Martin is never boring! Love you both.
