Palms together.... Love it! So glad you are laughing 80% of the time. That means that you are bringing a special gift to those around you especially in those circumstances. Joy. Peace. Goodwill. Maybe more than one gift! Christmas has already begun. May your Christmas be a blessed one.

Thank God, He is watching over you two ! :-) All i can say, is Holy smokes.
Read psalms 35, and it may help... or at least give you something to chuckle about :-)
I am frankly in Awe of your tenacity and patience. Just a wonderful testimony to your values :-)
Love you both, Really glad you will be resting soon, and home safe again

Tiffs are Treasures! Martin and I have learned more truth through what we call 'discussions' than any thing else. Mind you after almost twenty-six years of marriage I am thankful for the discussions because it means we are still growing. One thing for sure: Martin is never boring! Love you both.
you know what I notice ? surprisingly the absence ot photos of you two together... ? It is pretty clear that you guys are having issues, Because the last two blog updates were 99% of the places, and 1% of you two as a couple.. ? This is your Journey TOGETHER as a couple for the rest of your lives... and when i see Kevin in a photo from 50 feet away, and out of 23 photos, that is the only one of him... it concerns me. Put the camera in someone else's hands for a minute, and have Them take photos of BOTH of you together. After almost 5 years together with Cyndy, the photos we treasure the most, are the ones we have of hugging each other, in these world class places.
Number 17 was flipping amazing.. wow... beautiful. what is it.. I do wish you guys would write a little commentary on each photo as you posted them. And # 19... Beth, where are you... i wanted to see you ROARING at another Lion LOL..
It sounds like you guys have an amazing perspective on how to deal with conflict... it is inevitable... it is just a matter of how you manage through it. It does not surprise me that Kevin is the peacemaker... he was sooooo calm and soothing for me, that his Rock Like peacefulness will temper Bethany's fire, and you will both be so good for each other.
It is funny that you decided to go and visit the Leaning Tower, after you were having conflict... that is just like you two... and i love it.. what an amazing metephore to look at, and use as a "foundation" of what not to do... LOL... I seriously hope you are keeping a journal of all your adventures... it will make an awesome book.... for the next newlyweds behind you. Seeing both of your talents at writing, i think it would be a really logical next step :-)
Love you guys a ton :-) Be at peace, and enjoy the WHOLE journey.

I remember Madrid... Wow, you guys story defintely tops me and my dad's. Let's just say it was at end of a long trip, we got lost and I was having difficulty understanding the direction the Spaniards were giving me. In the end, we arrive in time for the plane and got home safe and sound! I hope your next adventures are a little less tiresome and more warmer. Love you guys!
Public comment :-) Hi,
Silly me, I just saw that part... ??? I have sent you a comment on every Blog post you have posted, and not once have i received comments back. I think i just figured out why.... I was not doing it correctly, and now, i am hoping that there will be Public Posts to your trips :-) ?
Love you both

Kevins Ring :-) It's a funny thing about rings :-))
Picture Number 28 is fantastic..., surrounded by ALL that magnificent beauty, the one aspect of all these photos that really struck me, was the ring on Kevin's hand. I know the kind of man he is, and I know what that symbol holds in his heart, and that is frankly one of the most beautifully important works of art, ever created. :-) The commitment of one person to another person, for LIFE.
These photos are amazing, in their richness and texture of color, but each time i look at a photo, i see one of your rings first, and it always makes me smile :-)
It certainly looks like you are enjoying Italy a LOT more. I am really glad to hear that... it sounded like you needed to warm up a bit, and get into a place that was a little more your "speed" :-)
when you are posting photos, please include some kind of discription of what we are looking at ? I am quite interested in what you are seeing, and it helps to know what i am looking at, what city, what was going through your mind, as you took the photo... that sort of thing :-) it helps me to live vicariously with you guys, and experiacne it as well.
Love you both :-)

Love you both :-) let me know when you are online again. ;-)

Such lovely photos of your adventures, guys! So glad to see you're enjoying yourselves and experiencing different cultures! Hopefully you're not doing too bad with the 'lost in translation' stuff.

Parlez-vous francais Loved the bonjour! French food is fabulous. Family helps us out a lot when we are in Europe... they make it possible to stretch the dollar. Canadians get better treatment that Americans. Are you wearing the flag? The Yanks do too though....
Love you. No more park benches in your future!
Yikes! I have a friend in Madrid. So much for that helping you out now. Oh, I remember well trying to get places during holiday in Spain. Either things were booked up or some transportation system was on strike. Good luck!!!! Happy travels to you.
No Coke... ??? 'Cause it is a drug ? Really??? That seems Odd... ???
Your photos of the coastline are spectacular... did you take a LOT more ? I would love to see many many many more photos of the water, and the architecture, and the marketplace. :-) These thing facinate me in every culture.. the way other countries treat their coastlines. the US exploit ours terribly, and I am curious to know if they do as well? Obviously, i am a Capitalist, so I am also interested in seeing more photos of their marketplace... that would be cool :-)
Love you guys :-) have a great trip,
John
