Off to Chatachuk markets, on the bus, 8 baht each way! The market is huge. What is really good is it is not for tourists. Predominately we needed clothes that we hadn been able to get along the way. We found local small designers there that were great value, and much better quality than the copy stuff. the place is phenomenal, its just so big and crowded. Selling everything from yo yos to the most beautiful silver sinks in the shape of leaves. I would have like to buy a dish that looked like a flat woven square plate in silver and David would have liked the huge mortar and pestle but between us we wouldn be able to buy anything else!

Bangkok is not as gross as i remember it, they have lots of greenery down the middle of the roads and lots of hedge plants lining the bigger roads. Garbage is cleared every night, but there is still an enormous amount of rubbish around. Most of the food you buy comes in a plastic bag with a dipping sauce in another bag then they put the whole lot in another bag, everything you buy they put in a

bag as well and they look at you funny if you say no no no bag please!

We haven seen to many beggars as yet, have tried to shield the kids from the ones we have.

Food options were ok too. We found a restaurant stall thingy that was good, once again, loved Harry and gave him heaps of lollies.

Caught the bus back, thought the driver was going to get Harry to drive at one stage, and then went for a walk back to our accommodation.

That night we went out and just had street food, bits of this and that, got a few drinks and went back to Bangkok House.

Weve decided to go to Kanchanaburi early, as no one seems to love Bangkok, and we are back at the end of the month.
