Traffic jam!Traffic jam!Traffic jam!

We were on a bus to the fabric market (the first time) and there was a traffic jam that was pretty bad. All lanes were mashed into one and I was happy I was on the bus and not in a taxi.
There have been a few things that have happened/ places I have been to that deserve a photo and explanation. We have a saying around here that goes a little something like this: TIC.........This is China.
This is said a lot.

Just a side note for the fireworks video- fireworks happen ALL the time and ANY time here. The week day morning, afternoon, weekend morning, afternoon, evening....you name it. I couldn't understand why they would set them off in the daylight, but apparently when someone has moved or has gotten married they set off fireworks. I think they like to let everyone know about their celebrations!

We tried to get on a bus after the fabric market, but since it was a busy area we couldn't find the stop or a taxi, so we walked....the construction was everywhere because of the upcoming World Expo in May.

We had just been to starbucks and decided to take a look in the mall. All the stores were luxury brands and there were some fancy glass sculptures, so why not take a pic?

This isn't the greates pic, but it is at the stall where we got our coats made. The man beside me was the owner, his daughter-in-law and the tailor on the right.
