It seems, Like we switch off and on for writing these blogs, the funnier ones are mine 😉
Today we watched the dusk bring Northern Africa to light, as we drank our champagne and ate our cheese filled ravioli on the balcony. We have a lovely kitchen, with all the fixin's....the only thing missing is spices! I am having a hard time, without curries and chilli pepper, but when you don't speak Spanish you have a hard time picking all the red ingredients from all the red ingredients.
Kevin says he doesn't mind going to Mercadona (the market by our apartment) every day, he likes it there, like a kid in a candy store. So many foods to try so many different types of meats and cheeses. He's turned into quiet the interpreter he looks at most signs for a moment or too then through his deductive reasoning he gets the jest of most of the things in the super market, and the cooking directions.
We have internet in our apartment, and we get to watch all of the television and movies that are available. Last night i watched Hanna Montana.
They night before last, it rained
quiet heavily and as said in our short video the shops were not open due to religious reasoning i suppose. Well the story is, after a lovely fest and some free drinks (gratis) we made our way to a pub. I convinced Kevin i only wanted to look, but he assured me if i did look i'd want to stay and then we'd buy drinks. He was right. After singing 4 songs of karaoke and one ridiculously generous serving of vodka water....kevin and i returned to our place, laughing the night away. Even his singing impressed the locals as he sang three songs from the nineties which he belted and starred at me all through the song.
We are looking to plan our next part of the journey!

Much love,
