Andrew found a Syracuse Jumper... obsessed!!!
Visited Macy’s store first thing to pick up Yankees stadium tour tickets for tomorrow. Then headed to NBC studios for a tour behind-the-scenes. Saw Dr.Oz set (???? - some NY doctor show), then Sunday Night Football set and Saturday Night Live set - very cool! Laura made me participate in the last part of the tour - a live filming of the NY weather (luckily only our tour group saw it, but we still bought the DVD for you guys!).

Next was ‘Top of the Rock’, a look at Manhattan Island from 60 storeys high. Very exciting, hard to believe, but a better look of the town than the Empire State building. And a great look at Central Park too! Laura had her photo taken as Michael J Fox in Back to the Future, but was too chicken to buy the photo!! Briefly checked out the inner sanctum of Rockefelller Center. It was like a city within a city - very cool! Walked through Grand Central Station and the main hall was unbelievable, especially the detail on the walls/roof. Same as the New York Public Library - really amazing to see the detail that has gone into the construction of each building.

Travelled over to the Chrysler building, but we were both a little disappointed. Just a foyer and no access upstairs, so we spent about 10 seconds in there. Last, but not least, was the World’s largest department store - Macy’s. A whole city block in size and 11 floors of shopping, but Laura still couldn’t find a jumper that she liked!! Women. Just got back from a lovely Italian restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen on 9th Avenue. Monday night football is shown in every restaurant, so I’m happy to eat anywhere!!
