Bangkok Temples and on to Chang Mai

Here's some pics of the temples in bangkok....they were pretty awesome. (damn it seems i cannot access them in this internet cafe - they will have to wait) I have gone up to Chang Mai to soak up some culture. Had a maaaaasssssaaaagggeee earlier (of the clean kind!). It was lush, got bent around and pounded a bit and rubbed down all over with oil (ooo er). The woman didnt really speak any English but funnily enough she did know how to call me 'santa claus', another beard reference! Off on a cooking course tomorrow, really looking forward to doing something productive and creative. All this travelling around and doing touristy stuff is now starting to wear a bit thin. Living in a guesthouse out of a backpack is fun, for a while! (perhaps I am showing my age 😊 Only 4 days left on my Thai visa so I have to figure out a way of getting to Cambodia without it costing a fortune (to see the Angkor Temples - the main reason I came!). Almost half my money is gone already. SE Asia is cheap yeah, but what you don't get told is that if you wanna travel around alot and do lots of stuff, that all costs money. I think I will get a bit drunk tonight and watch some Thai band do some dodgy western covers.

Mate you look to be having an excellent time out there... photos are great, thought I'd have to wait till you came back to see those, looks like I forgot you were an IT genius... I'm cool back here, torrential rain, warm beer, laughing at Diviesh... usual stuff. And mate, you got beated by a girl at a thumb war! What's up with that??!!!
