The people i am going on Camel safari with.
Hi All,

Since my last post a couple of days ago I have continued my time in the holy Brahma town of Pushkar.

In the guesthouse I am staying that I have befriended an Israeli and a Swiss; who have been fun to hang out with and it has meant I am not a complete loaner!

They have actually invites me to join them when they move on from Pushkar and head to the Desert city of Bikaner; I gladly accepted their offer. Hopefully from Bikaner we will be heading on a camel safari into the north western part of the Thar Desert for a couple of days. This generally involves sleeping under the stars, visiting small desert villages and having our meals cooked by the camel driver. We shall also be visiting the weird "rat temple" in Deshnok which is overrun by... you guessed it thousands of rats.

Over the past couple of days in Pushkar I have been visiting a variety of different temples; including some of the ones in the surrounding hills. A lot of the locals find it confusing when I walk to all of these places; i often have to explain that us British like to walk and that myself personally likes to walk a hell of a lot more than the average British person!

Anywho, I shall leave you now and will probably not post again until I arrive in Bikaner next week.

Hope you are all having fun in cold old blighty (it's pushing 30 degrees here) and that you all had a good bonfire night!

Namaste!
