Tonight my travel begins, from Mumbai to Joe'berg. Last couple of weeks were spent in meeting friends, family and doing just the preparatory stuff for travel. The most painful preparation was getting the Yellow Fever vaccination (yipee, I finally got it 😊. Its available only in 2 places in Mumbai (controlled by government), long queues and endless waiting to figure out if your name appears on the "merit list" of people getting the shot that day 😊
From Joe'Berg, I am off to Capetown on Monday and then to Cape of Good Hope (that will be the first 2 day trek I will take).
Its likely that South Africa will have wet, cold and sunny weather, all possible in the same day, so should be interesting experience.
I have decided the places I am going to (or at least I think so now), but no accommodation booked yet except in Kenya (just felt more fun to go underprepared as compared to the fully planned trips I am used to). Will make staying arrangements once I get to Joe'berg.
