Destination - Belhaven, NC
Left anchorage in the Alligator River at 8:30 AM
Arrived in Belhaven at 3:30
Went down the Alligator-Pongo Canal. Saw dolfin at teh mouth of the canal in 12 feet of water. It took three hours to get through teh canal. Got a slip in Belhaven to charge up batteries etc. Played with the dinghy motor and decided it would have to go to the shop. I may have to shell out money for a new motor.
I plan on anchoring out tomorrow just before the Neuse River. Should be a short day. Then a long day across the Neuse River to another anchor and then to Beaufort , NC. to probably another marina. Did I tell you my budget is already blown.
