Back to Auckland

Checked out of the hostel at 10 am and found that it was crappy and cold out and sprinkling a bit. Made some breakfast and sat around in the common room with a bunch of other people leaving that day and watched people playing Monopoly and then threw on a movie, Knocked up.

The stray bus came to pick up a few of us at 2 pm. We drove south to Whangarie and stopped at the Whangarie Falls which were really nice. We walked down to the base of the falls to take a few pictures and then we were on our way. We got to watch Whale Rider on the way back. First time i've seen it. Was quite a good movie if you've never seen it you should check it out.

We got in to Auckland around 6 pm and I got dropped off at the Fat Camel hostel. Met an english girl up in my room and we walked over to the grocery store to get a few things. Mostly just chilled in the room and visited with all the girls.

Talked to my cousin Pat who was in Ireland when I was over there and now happens to be in New Zealand at the same time as me. It's a crazy world! Anyways, he saw my signature in the guest book at the Waitangi treaty house the day before which is a funny coincidence. We wont get a chance to see each other most likely as our schedules are not really matching up but hopefully they have a great trip around NZ!

haha, ok so you beat me to it on the Whale Rider thing. Did I call it or what??
