Hello Friends and Family,
Welcome to my travel blog of South America. I'll be documenting my travels throughout the continent for your reading enjoyment. 😊
Mom and Dad took me to YVR last night. We went to Tim Horton's for a coffee (will be the last one for three months), and then said our goodbyes. I will miss home, my family and friends, but I am also excited to go see a part of the world I've always been interested in seeing.
I am currently at the Toronto Airport, waiting to board my flight to Bogota. I am excited to start my trip off in Colombia and learn more about the country. The plan is to stay in Colombia for at least a couple of weeks, and then head to Ecuador after that. Stay tuned!

Departure
Your departure occurred without any last minute kerfuffles as to where's this or that so I do now conclude that you are the consummate traveler, with your having been to Europe, Australia, Central America and South-East Asia. At the airport you were even able to have the Air Canada agent willingly fly you directly to Toronto versus the circuitous route on your ticket to Toronto by way of a stop and transfer in Montreal, demonstrating the old adage that if you don't ask, the answer is always no.
