Wow in Lao!

As a professional Cheap Charley I have to say that I am wowed by the cheap prices in Laos and how much it feels like Cambodia did when I first started going there in 1999.

We are staying at a very nice hotel and spoiling ourselves as I could not resist the rate on this a budget accommodation in Luang Prabang. I have never seen a flat screen TV in a hotel for under $30 USD a night.

Some of the other memories of when I first came to Asia also came in in that you need to double check everything and then you are still going to be lead down the primrose path We were sold VIP buses from Vientiane to Ving Vang and Ving Vang to Luang Prabang that were really 2nd class as there were no toilets on board and they were very cramped. But then the Wow in Lao affect the scenery is some of the nicest I have seen in any Asian country so far.
